Submission

The GMP-X 2026 conference offers three submission tracks, tailored to different preferences.

Contributed Talks

If you would like to present recent research results (published or not) without submitting a paper, then you may submit just the title and abstract of your work (using this LaTeX template). The scientific committee will check whether the topic fits the conference or not. If accepted, you will present your work as a contributed talk.

Short Papers

If you would like to present and publish novel and unpublished research results, you may submit a short paper (4–6 pages, using this LaTeX template). Your paper will be reviewed by two members of the scientific committee. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and published in the electronic conference proceedings.

Based on the quality of the submission and the presentation at the conference, the scientific committee will select the most convincing short paper, award it with the GMP-X 2026 Best Paper Award and invite the winner to present the work at the GMP 2026 conference in Pilzen (Czech Republic, May 27–29, 2026).

Moreover, the scientific committee will identify short papers that have the potential to be extended to full journal papers. Authors of these papers will be invited to submit the extended version to a special issue of the journal Computer Aided Geometric Design, where they will undergo the usual review process. For each such paper, the scientific committee offers to nominate one of its members to become a mentor, providing advice and help regarding the preparation of the extended version, so that it will meet the journal standard.

Posters

If you would like to present your current research work as poster, you may submit an extended abstract (1 page, using this LaTeX template). The scientific committee will check whether the topic fits the conference or not. If accepted, you will present your work as a poster, and the extended abstract will be published in the electronic conference proceedings.
